I was doing some research on favicons (what to choose, how to design, etc) and I found your page here: ipodcarmusic.blogspot.com/2010/02/about-web-design-voting-started.html, and I wanted to thank you for this interesting piece.
After some more exploring online, I compared a few tools to generate favicons and found a good one that is ad-free and quite easy to use:
