I am not a morning person. It's not that I'm cranky in the morning. It's more like I'm not there at all. I will smile nicely, for example, while I hit snooze five times. I radiate pleasantness while misplacing my keys, phone, lunch, and shoes. It's all very chipper, but it's not efficient.

I think I might have identified my problem. I spent about ten minutes this morning considering whether I should put a coffee pot at my desk, to cut out that pesky walk to the kitchen.
