Web designers are no different. Most designers would love to see a site they've designed win an award, and now is your chance to nominate your site. The About.com Reader's Choice awards are accepting nominations from now until January 24th. And if your resolution is to become a better designer, then the Daily Design Challenge is a great way to do that.
