| Your Portfolio Is Never Finished
How long has it been since you've looked through your portfolio? Styles change. Your skills change. Your portfolio needs to keep up. And you definitely want to weed out any of those "what was I thinking" pieces that might have been great samples a few years back but aren't going to cut it now.
| What I'm Trying to Read, Part 3
Of the three books I've mentioned in this 3-part series of blogs, I've only managed to finish one of them. This isn't it. What was the designer thinking when choosing to constantly change the background from page to page? I don't think readable pages was their main concern. Or, maybe I've just read too many poorly designed books lately and every little thing is getting on my nerves.
