Readers' Choice 2011It's that time of year again. Time to hand out the awards. But first, we have to determine the nominees. And that task is up to everyone reading this. Nominate your favorite software and sources of fonts, images, and templates whether you are a user, a Webmaster, or the company representative. The more nominations, the more chances to make the finalists cut. However, nominations should be made in the most appropriate category. Inappropriate nominations may be disregarded. For example, nominating InDesign in the free software category is not appropriate even if you did get a free copy from your cousin -- that's a whole other issue right there.

There's more than just nominations going on though. Share your opinion on business cards. Find out how to get started in digital scrapbooking. Check out book and software updates. Scroll down in the newsletter to learn about colors, columns, and creative projects. And don't forget to join us on Facebook.

Nominations Open for 2011 About.com Readers' Choice Award
What is the best software for graphic designers? Where do you turn to again and again for fonts? Is there any free desktop publishing software that rivals the industry leaders? Nominate your choices for the best desktop publishing software and sources for fonts, images, and templates. Once all the nominations are in I'll tally the results and reveal the 2 to 5 finalists in each of 9 categories. Then the voting will begin. Who does desktop publishing best? It's your choice.

Best of the Best
And this year the About.com Readers Choice are about more than just software, apps, and computers. It's expanded to embrace sports, entertainment, health, hobbies, religion, and more. Nominate the Best of the Best in all the topics that interest you from football to painting to skin care.

Do We Still Need Business Cards?
There was a time, not so long ago, when it would seem silly to even ask the question, "Do we still need business cards?" Almost every business needs a business card, right? Maybe, Maybe not
