The Truth About "LED" Televisions
There has been a lot of hype and confusion surrounding the introduction of "LED" Televisions. Even many marketing representatives and sales professionals that should no better are falsely explaining what an LED Television is to their prospective customers. To set the record straight, the LED designation refers to the backlight system, not the chips that produce the image content. All LED TVs are still LCD TVs. 2) Accell Locking HDMI Cables
One example of a very practical idea is the development of the locking HDMI cable. Why is this important? Simply put, HDMI cables are quickly coming the standard for connecting home theater components. HDMI cables are great for passing both high definition audio and video between components and displays in a home theater system, but the one problem they have is that they don't fit very tight and sometimes fall out when things are moved around. 3) NextGen Products HDMI Twister Connection
No space left behind your TV, Home Theater Receiver, DVD or Blu-ray Disc player to connect your HDMI cables? No problem, the HDMI Twister connection may be just the ticket! All you have to do is connect the mail end to an HDMI input or output on a component, then angle the HDMI Twister according to your needs and then connect your HDMI cable into the female end of the HDMI twister. Sony Eco-Series Bravia KDL-40VE5 40-inch LCD TV
Energy efficiency is becoming more of a concern these days as government policies increasingly restrict our access to energy generating resources. However, no matter how you feel about the issue, having a television that provides good performance and lowers your electric bill is a good thing.

The Sony KDL40VE5 40-inch LCD television is one of the new generation of energy efficient TVs that accomplishes this without the need for mandated government regulations. This 40-inch set features a modest 90 watt average (140 watt peak) power draw (which beats current Energy Star guidelines), full-off mode that removes typical standby power consumption, an automatic room light sensor, and a motion sensor that turns the TV off if you leave the room.

Despite its energy-saving functions, the KDL40VE5 still delivers an excellent picture with its full (1920x1080) 1080p native pixel resolution as well as 120hz screen refresh rate. On the other hand, it is advised that for a good audio experience, an external audio system be used. This set is definitely worth consideration.
