| | Gotta admit that sometimes -- okay, often -- I choose fonts in something of a rush. That doesn't mean I don't spend a lot of time trying to find just the right fonts or font combinations. Sometimes I spend way too much time changing fonts, looking at samples, mixing, matching, and mismatching. Then I often end up going back to one of my first choices because I've just run out of time. | | Font Combinations for iPhone I discovered Font Combinations for the iPhone when the creator, Douglas Bonneville, posted about it in our Reader's Tips on Choosing Fonts. It's a nifty little app. Not sure if it would actually save you time -- I can see myself spending way too much time trying to go through all 2000 possible combinations -- but it's a way to do something useful while standing in a long check out line or chilling in a waiting room full of 3 year old magazines. Just be sure to heed my tip and take a screenshot of those font combinations that most catch your eye.
