From Jennifer Kyrnin, your Guide to Web Design / HTML
This week I take a look at one of the less well-supported features of CSS 2 (and 3) - paged media. Most Web browsers don't support paged media well, but if you plan on creating printable Web pages, it's a good idea to understand how they work. Plus, I wonder how many of you have used a CSS framework? This is a tool to help you create websites more quickly, by having the basic site elements (layout, fonts, even colors sometimes) pre-built so that you can focus on the design and content.

The @page Rule Helps with Printing
When you're working on creating a print style sheet, you should be aware of the @page rule to help you provide specific styles for the pages.

Poll: Have you ever used a CSS framework?
CSS frameworks are a tool for Web designers and developers to create websites quickly without needing to "reinvent the wheel". They provide things like layout structures, user interface elements, typography and more. Have you ever used one? Vote Now View Results

Interesting Web Books - New Books on Web Development
I love to read. I read over 100 books a year, possibly as many as 200 books. And while most of these books are science fiction, dantasy, or general fiction, I also read a lot of Web development books. These are some of the books that have come out recently that I would like to read.

If you have written a book about Web development and would like me to review it, please email me.
