The past week has been ugly. First a breach and data theft at AT&T and then the release of a zero-day exploit that's actively attacking users. Criminals you say? I tend to agree, but these perps are calling themselves security researchers. One of them is even employed by Google and guess who's being targeted - Windows users. Ormandy Exploit Leads to Malware
A turnkey exploit delivered by Google employee Tavis Ormandy is being actively used to deliver malware. During the infection process, the malware even attempts to load a file from Tavis' own website.
