From Jacci Howard Bear, your Guide to Desktop Publishing
Generally I can tell a phone number from any other random string of numbers by the ways it is used or where it appears. And separation of the numbers into groups using dots, dashes, parentheses, or spaces is another clue. But I never really thought about there being any absolute right or wrong ways to format a phone number. I blogged about this back in July and a lot of you chimed in with opinions, examples, and sometimes lengthy lessons in formatting phone numbers. Just recently we've had a couple of new comments and one makes a claim that how you do a phone number can make or break your business. What do you think?

Phone Numbers: Dots or Dashes
Chris writes "My opinion about dots in phone numbers: trendy nonsense." But Printing Guy has even more to say including the assertion that "The decision to use periods is actually indicative of a failing business." That's a strong statement that he expands on with some stats. What do you think about dots vs. dashes or other ways of formatting phone numbers.

3-D Printing Now and in the Future
I do good to get a flat piece of paper to come out of my printer but I gotta admit that the thought of 3D printing sounds cool. Guide Peter Piazza asks, "Will this technology revolutionize the way we do business?"

Adobe Software Subscriptions
According to our poll not many of you are too sure about this new Adobe payment option. In the comments Terry K writes, "Software subscriptions are almost ALWAYS a bad idea for the consumer." Says the math doesn't add up in your favor. Any other points of view out there? Is the ability to pay monthly instead of shelling out all that money at one time an attractive option?

PrintMaster Reviews
16 & 18 are good numbers but reviewers have nothing good to say about the newer editions. Which do you use and why?
