From Jacci Howard Bear, your Guide to Desktop Publishing
Went on a short camping trip with my daughters last week. Although we ate well (a combination of freeze-dried entrees, MREs, and beans/rice) we did have a shortage of snacks. A lack of electricity wasn't a problem but it would have been nice to have a makeshift home office in the woods with laptop and printer to crank out a little newsletter or photo album on the spot.

Do You Have a Laser Printer?
The replies are fairly evenly split at the moment. Tell us if you have a laser printer or not and whether it's color or B/W. Share in the comments why you do or don't think having a laser printer is important when doing desktop publishing.

Do You Recycle Used Printer Ink Cartridges?
Check all that apply and if you don't recycle, tell us why.

Adobe Subscriptions
At present readers are split on whether or not they're considering this new way to pay for Adobe software. On the nay side russspears writes,
"Moreover, once I paid for the software it is mine. But what happens when your subscription runs out? are you left with anything? Because I am sure you can not subscribe and the next month cancel with the latest updated CS5."

Phone Number Formatting
If you missed it last week, a few more readers chimed in with comments on how to separate numbers in a phone number including this from jgarcia,
"Language changes all the time and so does the way we write it."
