From Charles Herold, your Guide to Wii Games

This week I preview two games published by Warner Bros. LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, which comes out for the Wii this year, completes the LEGO version of the Harry Potter epic, while Batman: Arkham City is a sequel to the excellent Batman: Arkham Asylum that will come out for the Wii U next year. The Batman preview is my very first Wii U preview, although I did not see the Wii U version, which is why I'm not billing it as a "hands-on preview" even though I did actually play it a little.

I've been shy on reviews lately, but now that we're moving into September, expect that to change. Next week I'll have a review of Nicktoons MLB, a kid-focused baseball game. It's a cute game, although my shoulder is quite sore from all that pitching and batting.

"LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7" Previewed

I recently took a look at the upcoming LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. I wasn't shown the Wii version, but the Lego games, unlike so many others, offer basically the same gameplay on the different consoles, so I'm still able to give you my impressions.  You can read my preview here.

"Batman: Arkham City" Previewed

Batman: Arkham City is coming out for the Wii U next year, and while I haven't had a chance to see it on that platform, I did get a look at the game on the Xbox 360, which made me realize what I have to look forward to next year when the Wii U is released and the days of crappy-looking Wii games are over.   So read my preview of Batman: Arkham City and ponder the exciting future.
