So, in the last two weeks, I've taken a look at what the "experts" (industry analysts and game developers) are predicting for the Wii, listed the fanciest game controllers and named my choices for the most overrated Wii games of all time. I've also got the latest Wii U news and rumors for you. With E3 almost upon us, something interesting turns up almost every day. A few Wii games are shipping in June, so I will be writing some actual game reviews then, but what's coming next week is still floating in the ether. Analysis: Experts Ponder the Future of the Wii U In less than a month Nintendo will show off its upcoming console at the video game trade show E3. While it gave people a look last year, this will be a presentation aimed at making everyone believe they need one this Christmas. So far no one is really sure how the Wii U will pan out, but there are plenty of people ready to offer an opinion. I look at some of those opinions in two articles... Part 2: Game Designers 9 Fancy-Schmancy Wii Controllers Listed I don't know what put it into my head, but I decided to sit down and list all the Wii games for which you have to have something more than a Wii controller. I came up with 9 controller peripherals. Oddly enough, almost half of them come from Activision, that apparently just love making gamers buy special controllers to play their games.
