Tips & Tricks

From Charles Herold, your Guide to Wii Games

This week I ponder some bad advice Nintendo has been getting, and also consider whether, as some insist, console gaming is at death's door and Nintendo needs to make smartphone games instead (hint: it's not, they don't).

I don't know what I'll be writing next week, but the week after is the week of video game trade show E3, when Nintendo will make all its Wii U announcements and we will finally be able to separate rumor and speculation from fact, at least to some degree. These week though, I do have a little more rumor and speculation for you.

I've listed the four worst ideas Nintendo has recently had from analysts and journalists; you can read what they are and why they're wrong in The Top Stupid Advice Nintendo is Getting.

I look at the issue in my analysis,Will the iPhone Kill Console Gaming?.
