Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights
Hanukkah or Chanukah begins at sundown on December 11 and lasts for eight days. After a major batter in 165, the Temple of Jerusalem was rededicated to God and it was discovered that their was only enough pure oil to burn in the menorah for one day instead of for the eight days required for the rededication of the Temple. Miraculously this single supply of oil burned for the entire eight days. Hanukkah or Chanukah is also known as the Festival of Lights. Find menorah clip art of plain brown menorahs with gold, blue, or purple candles.
