From Jacci Howard Bear, your Guide to Desktop Publishing
I like soaking up information of all kinds. It doesn't always sink in right away but if I hear about or read about something in enough different ways, it makes an impact. But some days even I can suffer from information overload. I seek out blank spaces for a little mental and visual relief.

Even something as small as a business card can be overloaded too. It needs its own blank spaces while also delivering the goods -- the right information.

Information-Packed Business Card
My favorite tip of the moment: If everything you want to put on the card won't fit comfortably and attractively, edit the text don't just shrink the font size.

What Information Goes On a Business Card?
It doesn't matter how much or how little info you put on your business card if you leave out the most important parts.

Double-Duty Business Cards
A good and not-so-good way to get more out of or into your business card.

One Week of Voting Left
Is this the year for Serif? Their supporters have pushed it into the lead in multiple categories. Is GIMP a better freebie than Scribus? Fonts.com is outrunning Myfonts.com at the moment. Where do you buy fonts? StockLayouts users have outvoted the newbie inkd so far in the race to claim top honors as best source of templates. If your favorite is falling behind, get your vote in now. If your favorite is in the lead -- vote to keep them there. Polls close on February 25.
