From Jennifer Kyrnin, your Guide to Web Design
Content is the point of a Web page. But if you don't know what content is you're not going to be able to create Web pages that work for the content.

Understand Web Content Before You Start Building a Web Page
Many beginners want to jump right in and build a Web page without having any idea of what they're going to write about or what that page will be. While this is certainly a common way to learn HTML (even my Free HTML Course teaches HTML this way), it's not the best way to learn to do Web design and build Web pages. By understanding content, you understand what your readers are coming to your site for, and that will ensure that you have readers in the future.

Some new Web editor reviews
Lately I have received six new Web editor reviews. What's your favorite Web design software?

Testing Your Web Pages
Testing Web pages is critical if you expect anyone to come view them. You need to test them for browser support as well as make sure that your HTML is valid and your links are correct. The articles and links on this page will help you test your pages and keep them looking good.

Poll: How long did it take you to learn HTML?
There are many different aspects to Web design from the principles of Web design to CSS to Web marketing and strategy. But one of the first places most people start is to learn HTML. But learning HTML is something that can be done quickly or methodically. How long have you been studying HTML, and do you feel you know HTML? Vote Now View Results
