Hi Entrepreneurs, I just got back from a week in the British Virgin Islands. It was the first winter vacation my wife and I have taken in eight years -- since we became an entrepreneur family. It was very different from the old days when my body took a vacation but my mind didn't because I was worried about who in my company was trying to kill me (politically)while I was gone. Entrepreneurship is a risky business. One way to reduce your risk is to buy an existing business that's already demonstrated an ability to successfully operate (hopefully at a profit). That confidence does come at a price, though, as you'll generally spend far more to buy a business than to start one from scratch. If you've got the funds, though, it's an excellent option.
