After an exhausting week of reporting the news from E3, I took it easy this week. So while I've got the latest Wii U news (because nowadays there just is no Wii news) I don't have any top 10 lists or any more rants on Nintendo's E3 performance.

After a long dead spot, a few games have actually come out for the Wii. Right now I've got three to review, a Wii port of the GameCube title Pikmin 2 and two movie-based games, the tolerable Madagascar 3 and the surprisingly well made Brave. I'll tell you more about at least one of those next week.

And at the end of June Nintendo is bringing the Wii U to New York so I'm finally going to get to see it for myself. I hope I like it; I'll let you know either way.

Fils-Aime: Wii U Price Will Be Pleasant Surprise

In an interview with IGN, president of Nintendo of America Reggie Fils-Aime fueled hopes for an inexpensive Wii U.

In the interview he noted that while Sony and Microsoft tend to start their consoles at a high price and then drop that price periodically, Nintendo's goal is to set a price and maintain it for a long period of time. Ubisoft Says Big Wii U Commitment Support Not That Risky
