| | It's been a busy week for game journalists as game publishers show their wares at the video game trade show E3 in Los Angeles. While I didn't go to E3, I watched all the live feeds and read all the press releases, and I have boiled down vast amounts of information in a series of articles. Did Nintendo do what they needed to in order to sell gamers on the upcoming Wii U console? Not so much. Last week I wrote an editorial asking Nintendo to please not screw up, but I feel they sort of did, failing to make a strong case for their new console and failing to wow us with their launch titles. The press has been harsh (including me), so what will Nintendo's next move be? Will they take action and turn things around, or we they go into denial mode and say that the press is wrong and their E3 showing was great? We should find out soon. | | A Worried Look at Nintendo's Wii U Presentation at E3 2012 Nintendo has made their Wii U plea to gamers. With a solid focus on games, the company is convinced that a few big titles and an unusual approach to multiplayer will sell the console this Christmas, but I'm less sanguine. This year, Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo all hoped to wow the crowds and the press. Some did better than others.
